Catherine Miller Mendoza, 59, passed away on Monday, April 8th at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS following an extended illness
   A Private Family Service and interment for Mrs. Mendoza will be at a later date. New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care in New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
  She was born October 12, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Johnny Trice Miller and Elaine Rompa Miller.
  A homemaker throughout her life, Catherine had a love for animals and was a devoted grandmother to her sixteen grandchildren. Reading and crossword puzzles were favorite pasttimes.
  Catherine leaves behind her two sons, John Edward Miller of Booneville and Albert Victor Hernandez (Brittney) of Hamilton, MS, one daughter Catherine Lucia Ratliff (Cody) of Saltillo, one sister, Rose Ann Perez of Booneville, MS , one brother John Charles Miller of Mobile, Alabama, nine grandsons and seven granddaughters.
