Angela "Angie" Lewis

Angela "Angie" Lewis, 51, resident of Mantachie and beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend, passed away Friday afternoon February 1, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
  A Service of Remembrance will be at 6 PM Thursday evening February 7 at New Bethel Baptist Church near Nettleton with visitation one hour before services.
  Angie was born September 30, 1967 in Red Bay , AL and is the daughter of Judy Hood Buchanan(Gene) of Fulton and the late Jerry Lewis. A Christian, she received her education in the Tremont School System.
  Angie will be remembered for her love of sharing every opportunity with her family, children, friends and pet dachshunds. Vegetable and flower gardening were favorite past times.
  In addition to her mother, Angie is survived by her children, Brittany Gann of Mantachie and Sean Higgins of Fairview, three sisters, Julie Kennedy Ables (Joe) and Rose Hurley (Jeff) both of Ryans Well and Traci South (William) of Tremont, two special friends, Janice Gann and Dawn Carson.
  She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vyrl and Olma Hood, paternal grandparents, Dossie and Alma Lewis and father in law, Leon Gann.
