Charles Ray Boyd

 Charles Ray Boyd, 61, passed away Tuesday May 21, 2019 at his residence in Pontotoc following an extended illness.

  Mr. Boyd was born March 23, 1958 in Arkansas, the son of the late Charles and Ann Adkins Boyd. He was a graduate of Oxford High School and employed in the manufacturing industry that included Ashley Furniture Corporation.
  A Christian, Mr.Boyd will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed motorcycles and gardening.
  Survivors include his wife, Denise Jenkins Boyd, of Pontotoc, a daughter, Rachel Coleman (Jesse) of Oxford, a son, Rusty Boyd (Julia) of Oxford, a sister, Melinda Medford (Sonny) of Fayetteville, AR, brother, Gary Boyd, of New Albany, four grandchildren, Michael Fortner, Abigail Boyd, Timothy And Rebecca Bratton and a great grandson, Bowen Simmons.
  He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Douglass Boyd.
