Sammy Eston "Dusty" Hughes, Jr., resident of Pinson, TN with relatives in Union and Tippah Counties, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday December 30, 2018 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
  Funeral Services for Dusty will be private. Arrangements will be provided by New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care-located at the intersection of Hwy 30 and W. Bankhead.
  Born July 24, 1959 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Sammy Eston Hughes, Sr. and the late Joyce Williams Reeves of Tippah County.
  Dusty was a 1977 graduate of Middleton High School and was employed by Henderson Stamping Company in Henderson, TN.
  Dusty was a Christian and a former resident of Tippah County before moving to Tennessee. He will be remembered for his love of cats, NASCAR and assembling model planes and cars.
  Those left to honor his memory include two sisters, Sandra Hatch (Roger) of Pinson, TN and Della H. Reece (Dan) of Guys, TN, two brothers, Carl Tommye Hughes of St. Petersburg, FL and Chris Hughes of New Albany, a host of nieces and nephews.
