Barbara Carolyn Dillard, 75, resident of New Albany, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo following a brief illness.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Dillard will be at 1PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with Bro. Jeremy Huey officiating. Burial will follow in Martintown Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillard was born September 5, 1947 in Union County to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Mayo Cook and a graduate of Ingomar High School. She was employed as a table cutter in the furniture industry for most of her life.
A supportive and family-oriented women and member of Fredonia Baptist Church, Ms. Dillard will be remembered for her love of the outdoors and the pride she took in tending to her flower garden.

Visitation will be from 11AM until 1PM at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care.
Survivors include her husband, James Dillard, one daughter, Lori Smith (Bill) of Ingomar, one sister, Kay Young (Larry) of Ingomar, and one brother, Walter Cook.
She is also preceded by one brother, George Cook, and two sisters in law, Sandra and Frances Cook.
