On Thursday December 4, 2025, Brandon Bowen Moncrief, 68, resident of Potts Camp, departed this life at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County following a brief illness.
Mr. Moncrief was born on October 23, 1957in Memphis, TN and is the son of the late W.T. Moncrief and the late Bonnie Cathey Miller. He attended high school in Austin, Texas and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 7 years. He owned a carpet cleaning company for 41 years before retiring. Hobbies included fishing, listening to classic rock music, watching westerns of television, sharing quality time with friends and family and feasting on Ms. Ann's lasagna.
In keeping with his wishes for simplicity, cremation will take place with no formal public service.
Those left to cherish memories include his wife, Ann Moncrief of Potts Camp, one daughter, Megan Ottinger of Columbia City, IN, one son Micah Moncrief of Pierceton, IN, five grandchildren and his canine companion "Rosie".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Moncrief.
