Donna Lynn O'Kelley Bennett

Donna Lynn O'Kelley Bennett, 72, resident of New Albany, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the First Methodist Church in downtown New Albany.

Mrs. Bennett was born October 1, 1950 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Ruth Stewart O'Kelley and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She continued her education at the University of Memphis earning her Bacholer Degree in Chemistry and was employed as a Cosmetic Chemist for the Maybelline New York and L'Oreal Group Corporation.

Mrs. Bennett had a beautiful and giving heart with an extremely impressive work ethic that was hard to match. A vibrant, fun-spirited woman who was full of life, everyone could sense her compassion and her huge heart when they were around her. She will be remembered for beautiful interior design skills of homes and businesses, her love of traveling the world, the enjoyment of walking golf courses with her husband and making lasting friendships that spanned over the globe.

Mrs. Bennett leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories for her family and friends to treasure until they meet again.

Memories will continue to be shared by her husband of 23 years, Joel Bennett of New Albany, two sisters, Betty Baker (Ben) of Covington, TN and Marsha Leach of Brighton, TN, one brother, Neal O'Kelley of Brighton, TN and two grandchildren, Sam Bennett and Gracie Lance, both of Atlanta, GA.
