Earnest Lee “Buddy” Carroll, 78, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at his home in Myrtle surrounded by his loving family.
Services honoring the life of Mr. Carroll will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care with Bro. Bobby Butler officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care with burial following in Ingomar Cemetery.
Mr. Carroll was born February 27, 1946, in Fulton, MS to the late Earnest Lee and Irene Page Carroll and attended Tippah-Union School. A farmer and mechanic, Mr. Carroll, will be remembered as a hard worker and would give you the shirt off his back.
A Chistian, Mr. Carroll enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching WWE wrestling and was fan of classic country music. His greatest joy came from the time he shared with his family, most of all his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Rebbecca Rogers of Mantachie, Patricia Voyles (Greg) of Moorville, two sons, Jonathan Carroll, Brian Carroll (Beverly) of New Albany, two brothers Dean Carroll of Pontotoc, Bruce Carroll of Myrtle, ten grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Holmes Carroll, one daughter, Barbara Kay Chism, two sisters, Betty Prather and Louise Robbins, two brothers, David and Andrew Carroll.
