With broken hearts and the knowledge that our Heavenly Father will give us strength to endure, the family of Eli Cayden Jackson asks for your prayers in the loss of our much-loved Eli.
On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Eli Cayden Jackson, resident of Myrtle, tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident at the young age of 15.
Services honoring the life of Eli will be at 2 pm, Thursday, January 5, 2023, at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with Bro. Doug Rakestraw officiating, Burial will follow in Amaziah Cemetery.
Eli was born on March 20, 2007, in New Albany and was the son of Richard Allen Driggers (Tabbatha) of Houston and Breanna Nicole Jackson of Myrtle. Beginning the second semester of his 10th grade, this was his first year of homeschool. He previously attended West Union Attendance Center and North Pontotoc Public School.
A Christian, Eli will always be remembered as a good natured, loving, calm, kind, respectful, big-hearted friend who was always making others around him smile and was known to do random acts of kindness without having to be asked.
Various activities that Eli enjoyed included fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, being the "best gamer of the bunch", eating anything in front of him excluding mayo and mustard and spending time with his sidekick canine companion, Bully.
Visitation will be from 11am until 2pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish memories include six brothers, Dylan Fowler, Peyton Russell, Ayson Driggers, Cayson Jackson, Camden Hall, and Christopher Fowler, his grandparents, Melissa Pannell of Myrtle, Jeff Jackson of New Albany, and Deidra Weeden of New Albany, Great Grandparents, Peggy Moody of Myrtle and Linda and John Taylor of New Albany, his best friends, Robert Thomasson, Blake Brock, and Hayden Willard, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, and his canine companion, "Bully".
He is also preceded in death by his great grandparents, Jerry and Barbara Driggers and James Moody.
