Janet Yvonne Hicks Green

Janet "Jan" Yvonne Hicks Green, 67, resident of West Memphis, AR, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 8, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 PM, Wednesday February 15, 2023, at Bethlehem Church with a visitation from 12 noon until service time. Dr. Jeff Lawrence will be officiating. 

Ms. Green was born on January 18, 1956, in California, the daughter of the late Billy Gene Hicks and Carol Hicks Anson of New Albany. She received her education in the Marion Public School System in Arkansas and worked in purchasing as well as customer service for over 39 years before retirement.

A Christian, Ms. Green was a lover of many things that included family functions, the color purple, and her dog, Solo.

Family was a top priority in Ms. Green's life, and they will miss her selfless and giving spirit dearly.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Hicks Anson, two brothers, Gregory Hicks of West Memphis, AR, and Scott Hicks (Carrie) of New Albany, MS, one stepbrother, Howard Anson and one stepsister, Suzy Adams, both of Sarasota, FL, and five nieces and one nephew, Jordan Hicks, Carly Hicks, Ginny Hicks, Journey Hicks, Braxton Hicks and Brooke Williams (Mike).
