Janice Sue "Jan" Hester Miller

 On Tuesday evening May 7, 2019, Janice Sue Hester Miller, 58, resident of New Albany, departed this life at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford following an extended illness.
 Funeral Services honoring the life of Jan will be at 2 PM Friday May 10 at Macedonia Baptist Church near Sherman with a visitation at the church three hours before services. Bro. Todd Bowen and Bro. Eddie Boutwell will officiate. Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery in Union County. Arrangements will be provided by New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care (662) 539-7000.
  A native of Baldwyn , Jan was the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Thompson Hester. A Christian and devoted homemaker, Jan grew up in the Unity Community and had fond memories of her childhood at Unity Church. She will be remembered as an avid reader and found great comfort in her books and sharing quality time with her four grandchildren.
  Jan is survived by her husband, Robert Miller, one daughter, Andrea Miller of New Albany, one sister, Helen Robison of Saltillo, four grandchildren, Brianna, Addison and Adam Courtney and Hayden Bennett, one nephew, Matthew Robison of Atlanta, GA, a special friend, Christine Courtney and a host of much loved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
