Lavoygie Junior High

 Lavoygie High Jr., 72, passed away on Monday June 06, 2022, at his residence in New Albany. Arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.

Born, June 15, 1949, in Union County, he was the son of the late Lavoygie and Georgia Pannell High Sr.  Mr. High received his education from the New Albany public school system.  He worked in the roofing business until his retirement in 2017.  

A Christian, Mr. High had an outgoing personality and was known to be the prankster of the family, especially to his sister Mary.  Telling stories of long ago was a favorite and enjoyed talking to anyone that would listen to him.  He had a love for his bar b q grill and enjoyed eating fish every chance he got.  Music played a big part of his life from the time he was little.  

Those left to cherish his memories include one son, Paris High, two sisters, Mary High and Doris High Fitzpatrick, one brother, Paul High.
