Leslie Lynn Killough, 57, lifelong resident of Hickory Flat, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 following an extended illness.
Services honoring the life of Leslie will be at 11AM Saturday, October 8 in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care. Burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery in Union County.
Leslie was born January 28, 1965 in Union County, the son of Vida Harris Mayfield of Hickory Flat and the late Travis Killough. He received his education from the West Union public school system and was a logger with Mike Day Logging throughout his life.
A Christian, Leslie, also known by his C.B. handle "lightning", will be remembered for his hard working, free spirited, outgoing personality. Spending time with his family and friends was always a joy. His favorite past times include fishing, woodworking, tending his garden, and working in "the shop" on family and friends cars.
Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM, Friday, October 7 and Saturday from 10AM until time of service.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Chelsey Lynn Killough, two sons, Tyler Hale and Leslie Ethan Killough, one sister, Barbara Alexander and three brothers, William Killough, David Killough and Mitchell Killough, one grandaughter, Acacia Hale, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa and Esther Killough.
