Louis Edward Hunter Obituary

Louis Edward Hunter, 57, resident of Tupelo, well known area musician and resident of North Mississippi for 45 years, passed away Sunday afternoon May 5, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany following a brief illness.
  Funeral Services for Louis will be at 3 PM Wednesday May 8 in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc County.
  An Arkansas native and a Christian, Louis was employed in the construction industry for much of his life before his illness. A family oriented person, Louis will be remembered as a talented guitarist who loved grilling, cooking, caring for his animals and special times with family and friends.
  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 PM to 3 PM at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care located at the intersection of W. Bankhead and Hwy 30.
  Survivors include his mother, Brenda Lee Roy Cox of Ecru, one sister, Tammy Joslyn (Steven) of Ecru, nine nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Hunter and two sisters.
