Mary Louise Cleaver Dillard, 73, resident of Marshall County, passed away peacefully April 4, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ms.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Dillard will be 2 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2023, in the Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care with Bro. John Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow in Ingomar Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillard was born April 7, 1949 in Little Rock Arkansas, to the late Guy Cleaver and Virginia Louise Charles and received her education from Forrest City School in Arkansas. After graduation she joined the Army were she served her country faithful and was married to her beloved husband, Carol "Tennessee" Dillard, who precedes her in death. She was employed as a manager with Walmart for twenty plus years before her retirement in 2008. A Christian and member of Evangel Full Gospel Church, Mrs. Dillard had a servants heart and loved taking part in her church any way possible.
Mrs. Dillard was quite the collector and believed everything in life had a purpose and very rarely let go of anything. She was blessed with talented hands and found much pleasure in sewing and crafts. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren meant everything to her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was known best for her loving personality and kind soul. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her most.
Visitation will be 11 AM until 2 PM Saturday, April 8, 2023 at New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care.
Those left to cherish memories include, two daughters, Carol Daniels (Johnnie) and Andrea Flowers Barton, five sons, Bill Dillard (Lynne), Danny Dillard (Christene), Ronnie Fazio, Jason Sisco (Samantha), and Tracy Dillard, a host of brothers and sisters, and a "whole bunch" of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Harden, and one son, Donnie Fazio.
