Mary Carolyn Sansing Beaty, 80, resident of New Albany, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Ms., surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services honoring Mrs. Beaty's life will be 1 PM Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The First Baptist Church in Ripley. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM, Friday June 23, 2023, at The First Baptist Church and 11:30 AM until Service Time. A Graveside service will follow in Plesant Ridge Cemetery in Union County. Greg Beaty will be officiating the funeral service and Stanley Phillips will be officiating the graveside.

Mrs. Beaty was born April 22, 1943, in Carolton, Ms., to the late John Clark and Myrtice Nelson Sansing. She received her education from Valley High School and was married April 17, 1960, to the late Thomas Gene Beaty. Together, she and her husband ran Beaty Piano Shop in New Albany for over 40 years. A Christian she attended the First Baptist Church in Ripley.

Mrs. Beaty leaves behind three children: Eddie Beaty (Carmen), Donna Blythe (Ronnie), and Greg Beaty (Amy). Fifteen grandchildren: Whitney Andrews (Scotty), Hannah Dunaway (Coty), Brooke Williams (Blake), Josh Blythe (Tara), Morgan Hudson (Sam), Eli Beaty, Clay Beaty, Abby Beaty, Edie Beaty, Reed Beaty, Ivie Taylor (Corey), Lexe Stanford (Bryce), Gage Morris, Bella Childers, and D’Anna Childers. Eight great-grandchildren: Jacie, Connor, Reece and Livvy Dunaway, Halle and Sawyer Blythe, Aubrey and Case Andrews. One great-great grandchild: Ben Taylor. Eight siblings: Rebecca Wood (the late Ed Wood) of Cleveland, TN, David Sansing (the late Glenda Sansing) of Rogers, AR, Allen Sansing (Betty) of Brandon, MS, Frances Cain (the late Tom Cain) of Smyrna, TN, Joseph Sansing (Rita) of Carrollton, MS, Mattie Mims (Billy) of Coila, MS, Esther Alexander (Charles) of Little Rock, MS, and Deborah Royals (Ed) of Hartsville, TN.

She was a devoted follower of Christ first and foremost. She loved her family whole heartedly and was always filled with great joy to spend time with them. Today, she is rejoicing at her Savior’s feet as she waits on the rest of her family to join her in Heaven.
