Peyton Ellis Denton, 32, resident of Myrtle, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 19, 1991, to Evan Denton and Ann Myers Pernell in Tupelo, MS. He was a 2009 graduate of Myrtle Attendance Center and worked at Winchester for the past two years. He attended Bethlehem Methodist Church in New Albany.
Funeral Services will be held at Bethlehem Methodist Church at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024, with visitation at 1:30 PM prior to the service. Bro. Jeff Lawerence will officiate.
Peyton was constantly in the gym working out, loved watching football, especially Ole Miss and had a love for animals. He had a big heart and loved his family. Peyton will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Peyton is survived by his parents, Evan Denton (Balinda) of Myrtle and Ann Myers Pernell (Terry) of Mrytle, his grandparents, Billy and Jane Myers of Myrtle, two brothers, Will Denton (Amber) and Caleb Yates (Kaitlyn), three sisters, Callie Denton Windham (Cody), Julie English (Taylor), and Nikki Poteet (Willie Paul), nieces, Isabelle and Elizabeth Denton, Isla Yates, Remi Kate English, Maggie and Mollie Moody and one on the way, baby Ella Jane Windham, nephews, Mason Hurta, Eli Yates, and Ray Moody and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy Doyle and Bonnie Denton.
