Randy W. Russell

Randy W. Russell, 61, lifetime resident of New Albany, departed this life unexpectedly on July 10, 2024.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Russell will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 12 Noon in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care with Bro. Laney Burchfield officiating.  Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service.  A private family burial will follow.

Mr. Russell was born December 24, 1962, in New Albany, to the late Kenneth "Red" and Pattie Sue Hall Russell.  He received his education from the New Albany Public School System and was a valued employee of Albany Industries as long as his health allowed.  Mr. Russell could be seen around town visiting different businesses and people at any time.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Amanda Russell Neal (Brad) of Pontotoc, one sister, Linda Gail Russell of Huntsville, AL, two brothers, Marty Russell (Lisa) of Ripley, Dean Russell (Jenny) of New Albany, four grandchildren, Dakota Neal, Kerstin Neal, Brantley Neal, Khloe Neal, a special friend Greg Hall and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
