Robert Tyer Jackson, known as Bobby, departed this life unexpectedly Sunday, January 12, 2025, in New Albany.
Born May 1, 1949, in New Albany, Mississippi, Bobby was the son of the late Wayburn Art and Iva Louise Tyer Jackson. A Christian, he was a graduate of W.P. Daniel High School and a truck driver for thirty-seven years. A jokester who loved to have a good time, he loved horses and most importantly, his family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish memories include two daughters, Tonya Jackson (Keith) of New Albany, and Sabrina West (Shaun) of Lamar, MS, one son, Robert “Shaun” Jackson (Cara) of Potts Camp, one sister, Barbara Jackson of New Albany, one brother, Kennth Jackson of Atlanta, GA, and seven grandchildren, Tyler and Eli Jackson, Caleb Cantrell, Conner and Carter West and Kylie and Tucker Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Fernando, one brother, Joe Jackson and one grandson, Caleb Jackson.
