Robert Dale Cook

Robert Dale Cook, 66, resident of New Albany, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, in Union County. 

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Cook will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Don Wilson officiating. Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM Monday, November 13, 2023, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and will continue Tuesday at 9 AM until service time.

Born April 24, 1957, in New Albany, Dale is the son of Maxine Hill Cook of New Albany and the late Robert Cook. He was a 1975 graduate of W.P. Daniel High School, he was a diesel mechanic for many years and a retired employee from Cooper Electric Company.

A Christian, Mr. Cook had a love for motorcycles in his younger years and enjoyed anything outdoors.  A true family man, Dale taught his daughters to play guitar, and as they became older, he would play as they would sing.

Those left to cherish memories include his three daughters, Erin Algee (Robin), Candance Jarvis (Eric), and Holly Cook all of New Albany, his mother Maxine Hill Cook, five grandchildren, Ava, Lilliana and Bryce Algee, Leigha and Eli Jarvis, one sister, Dianne Foster (Larry) and the mother of his children, Vickie Tigrett Cook.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Cook.
