Robin Elizabeth Mooneyhan Obituary

Robin Elizabeth Mooneyhan, 55, resident of New Albany, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, June 1, 2023, following a brief illness.

Funeral services honoring the life of Robin will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with Rev. Charlie Ganey officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service. Burial will follow in the Thaxton Cemetery.

Born in Pontotoc, Robin is the daughter to Hazel Smith of New Albany and the late Herbert W. Whitehead. She received her education from the New Albany Public School System and was a valued Manager for Crosstown Pawn in Tupelo as long as her health allowed.

A Christian of Pentecostal faith, Robin will be remembered for her beautiful smile that lit up a room when she walked in and her laid back, outgoing and funny personality.  Her favorite past times included looking for bargains at yard sales and flea markets, dragging her sister Tammy along on many excursions and being the best "Mimi" to her beloved grandchildren.  Robin will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Destiny "Jade" Mooneyhan, three sisters, Marilyn, Tammy and Sandie, and her three precious grandchildren, Jaden, Cameron and Alexis.

New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care invites you to share memories with the Mooneyhan Family.
