Ronald Lewis Canada, Sr., age 68, departed this earthly world on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at his home in Myrtle.
In accordance with Mr. Ronald’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
Born on March 19, 1958, Mr. Ronald was the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Canada. He received his education through the Bartlett, Tennessee Public School System and went on to build a life defined by hard work and dedication. For over thirty years, he faithfully worked as a dock foreman in the freight industry, a role that reflected his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to providing for his family.
A Christian man of quiet faith, Mr. Ronald found contentment in life’s simple pleasures. He was a devoted provider who took great pride in caring for those he loved. In his spare time, he enjoyed getting lost in a good book—especially the works of Jack Olson—listening to rock and roll or classic country music, and relaxing with his favorite television programs. Though his hobbies were simple, they brought him great joy and peace.
Above all, Mr. Ronald treasured his family. Time spent with them meant everything to him, and the love he had for them was evident in every aspect of his life. His presence brought comfort, stability, and strength to those around him.
Though he will be missed beyond measure, there is a deep and abiding comfort in knowing that Mr. Ronald has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Deborah King Canada; his cherished daughter, Sandra Nichole Canada; his sister, Lisa Sessena; and his brothers, Billy and Edward Canada. Together again, they rest in a place of perfect peace, where sorrow is no more and love endures forever.
Those left to honor and carry forward his memory include his son, Ronnie Canada, Jr.; his granddaughter, Callie Jones; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
