On Sunday morning, February 9, 2025, Tabitha Lea Leininger, 53, resident of Baldwyn, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home following a brief illness.
Tabitha was born January 15, 1972, in Illinois, the daughter of the late Earl Leon "Lee" and Irene Bishop Leininger. She was a graduate of Yorkville, Illinois High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. She was employed in the food retail industry for a brief time and continued her employment as a cashier/ customer service manager at Walmart in Oxford for 15 years.
Tabitha enjoyed listening to country music, sharing quality time with her mother and daughter, and watching television which included, Soap Operas, Game Shows, Food Network and Ghost Adventures on Saturdays. A beloved mother and aunt, she will be greatly missed.
Memories will continue to be shared by her daughter, Joie Leininger and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and two brothers.
