Wesley Bernard Jamison, 69, a resident of Pontotoc, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Pontotoc Health and Rehab. In accordance with Mr. Jamison’s wishes, he will be cremated.
Born on December 15, 1956, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Hansel Dean Jamison and Kathryn Jamison. Wesley worked as a factory worker and was a skilled mechanic who truly enjoyed working on cars. He was a Christian and found joy in watching westerns on television. Above all, he cherished time spent visiting with his grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his two sons, Wesley Jamison, Jr. (Christy) of Pontotoc and Chadwick Allen Jamison (Tammie) of New Albany, one brother, Larry Rutledge of Pontotoc, fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelia Heintzelman and Wilma Matthews, three brothers, Howard Rutledge, Roger Rutledge, and Greg Jamison, and one grandchild, Colby Jamison.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Pontotoc Health and Rehab for their care and support.
